The Senator’s Choice -
Senator William Hudson’s popularity has made him a favorite at home and in Washington. With so many opportunities, it’s no wonder he barely has time to spend with his family. Yet, when tragedy strikes without warning, William is forced to come to terms with his loss. Without asking, he finds himself surrounded by well meaning family and friends. However, no one was more welcomed than his good friends, LaShawn, Michael and Pamela Dawson.
Instead of returning home with LaShawn and Michael after the funeral; Pamela remains behind to comfort William. During their time together, William’s friendship with Pamela blossoms into something more and neither knows how to break this news to their families. You see...William and Michael have been best friends for over twenty years and Pamela Dawson is Michael’s twenty-three year old daughter.
In the end, with their secret uncovered; William and Pamela are faced with their toughest challenge. Will their love stand the litmus test and will they prove themselves strong enough to overcome scrutiny? With doubts in their minds, it is their shared moments of passion that fuels confidence in their relationship.
The Senator’s Choice. A touching love story and a reminder that love doesn't come without a cost.
The Senator Choice eBook Sasha Combs
Wonderful read! I hope you love this love story as much as I did with all the dynamic relationships and interactions that swirl around our H/H (William & Pamela). Sasha Combs led me by the hand and placed me into each scene as an invisible observer as this story begins with a sad loss that evolves into an undeniable attraction between William & Pamela. "Love found us and not the other way around." As explained by our hero William about him & Pamela. The Senator's Choice with a mix of politics stirred in does not disappointed.I really liked Pamela & William in all their human-ness and became invested and involved in their journey. This story had me wanting to help them, had me thinking of possible solutions. During a terrifying scene, I was frightened for a supporting character and Pamela. I liked how Pamela reached out in prayer for guidance. But no more, don't want to let spoilers slip out.
I really recommend this well written love story about conflicted hearts, self-examination, and painful realizations. It's written with a sense of family, faith, romance, tasteful yet HOT loving, and btw a very nice life style.

The Senator Choice eBook Sasha Combs Reviews
Too drawn out and not focused on the main characters. Fell asleep at times, skipped pages, couldn't wait to reach the end.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good love story. Non-stop drama and love that makes you smile.
The Senator's Choice is really a good book, I enjoyed the entire book, the relationship between William and Pamela was amazing, Pamela and William did not let their age difference keep them from falling in love and sharing a beautiful and loving relationship. Pamela's and William's parents along with William's daughter had a problem with their relationship/marriage, but they all came around. I would enjoy a sequel to this book.
Sasha Combs is a wonderful writer, but I felt like the two main characters were just annoying and idiotic. They couldn't even wait a respectable amount of years before supposedly falling in love with each other. William was putting the moves on Pamela when he was supposed to be comforting his own daughter. I felt like the entire time William was very disrespectful to his daughters emotions and I found him and everyone else, plain rude for tying to make her except this women that just suddenly came into their life (spoiler) with a baby in her belly. I was so disgusted with the way that William treated his daughter. He kept putting Pamela before his own child. He though about Pamela and his unborn child more than the child that was already there. I honestly only remember reading one part of this book were William acknowledged love for his daughter and that made me feel extremely sad for Morgan. I ended up just dropping the book. I couldn't connect or understand any of William and Pamela's choice to be together. This is the first really review I have every made and that's because I feel as though I really news to express the complete lack of reasoning and sense. Combs is a gray writer I can even tell from reading this book despite the problem I had in liking. However she should most definitely try to have more of a characterization description of the characters boy physically and mentally. The only character I could connect with was Morgan because her emotions and feeling regarding her father and his women were truly explain lovely. I just veiw Pamela and William as selfish ignorant people.
The book was boring and lacked depth. You did not get a backstory of the supposedly amazing love that these two characters shared. The story provided verly little insight into why these two people fell in love and without it you had no reason to root for the characters. Also the story was told too much from the characters inner thoughts and not actual conversations between each other. The book was not worth the price. It would not have been worth it even if it was free. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
I was bored with this story; it was not layered; the characters were one dimensional, and as a reader that truly annoyed me. This is an old theme in literature older man, younger woman, so obviously this story needs to be character driven, and it was not.
I was left wondering as a reader why William even fell in love with Pamela; the way she was written in this story their was nothing special about her; heck, we weren't even given a detail physical description of her to say that William was driven by lust at the beginning... and what little was provided by the author of character development for Pamela left a lot to be desire because again I was like "why does he love her?"
And William also was lot to be desired; there was a few incidents in the story where I was questioning his intelligence and age difference between the two....
The good, the idea of the story. Older guy ends up with his friend's daughter.
The bad, the writing style was horrible for me. I needed more dialogue and character interaction instead of descriptive writing. There was entirely too much detail. Like being told that he put on a top that matched his pajama bottom. Just wasted words. It made for difficult reading and I found myself scanning many pages. It also would have been nice to experience them discovering their love for each other with less time spent on the happenings in Montana. If this is the only writing style from this author, I won't be reading any more of her work. If I had known of the seven day return policy I would have definitely returned this book.
